A much needed break

Our family had a great opportunity to stay a couple nights in a wonderful house by the river for free. It was so much fun!!! We took a couple teenage friends along to pal around with our teenagers and our older girls both visited while we were there. We had our little grandbaby Maya with us and boy did she love getting dirty and playing in the sand. It was so nice to get away from the phone, paperwork , schedules, etc. We went into the little coast town nearby and found some pretty fun antique stores. Hopefully I will post some pictures of a few finds in the next couple days.

Hi, Kathy! Sounds like you had a wonderful time. It is good to get away from the regular routine and do something different.
It looks like Maya had a fun time.
You really do need to stop by when you're in town sometime!

Hi Kathy,
My best friend and I recently had a break at the coast, I totally get what you mean, sometimes it's just the ticket.
She also took me by Monticello for the first time and I got to see your amazing booth.....loved it, but sure wish I had bought that little pink musical jewelry box!
Oh well, live and learn.

What sweet family photos-I love the one of you all together-so much personality!
I loved your space-just ask my husband-he had a hard time getting me to move *along*! Our styles are soo similar and yet different! It was gorgeous! I have some pics up-come take a look!

What a blessing it is to be the recpiant of the "loaning" of somebody's 'get away place'!!! We have been thus blessed before, and still marvel at the whole of it - the genorosity, the relaxing, the wonderful memories made :-D
Glad you enjoyed yours.

Kathy,
Glad you were able to get away, and that the girls were able to come.

Looking forward to the Spring sale at Monticello.
Will be my first time to visit there.

Easter Blessings to you and your family.
