I'm struggling a bit with finding time to create. The time commitment of owning a store has kind of spooked me. I am still trying to juggle all things ,store, school, life, and find my time to create. I think it is a matter of time and getting use to new responsibilities. Hopefully all with fall into place. The store is going nicely and we have wonderful customers.I'm dreaming up fall things, hoping to fill the store with warm, fall enchantment.

Love what you've done with the pictures. You have a lot on your plate but usually time will take care of that overwhelmed feeling. Best wishes for success,
Annette
When I had my shop (longingly remembering) we had several people who made wonderful things and we sold them on consignment. We didn't advertise this..just kind of sought these people out. It really helped keep the shop looking a bit fuller. Maybe you could try something like that.
But Annette is right - time will definitely take care of things.
I'll be praying that you don't feel too overwhelmed.
Hi Kathy! Sally here...was in your shop a couple of times recently, visiting with you and your husband. I'm so glad you are just down the street! What a terrific shop :) It'll all fit together ... keep up the good work :) I love your new pics. Come visit me when you find time...lol...if you find time :)

I know exactly what you mean about trying to find time to create. I'm sure you start with good intentions to set time aside but "life" happens. I feel the same way. I have no solution or suggestion. So if you find the answer, let me know. I have a room full of fabrics waiting to be rebirth into something fabulous.
Have a great weekend!

Kathy,
I so understand what you are saying about time to create, and I am only open 3 days a week!!!!
Hoping things will even out soon, as creating is so much a part of who we are.

I wish I could say "more time will come",but after ten years of running our store I'm happy now just to move a space around! Create something oh maybe once or twice a year, but your creativity will morph into other areas, maybe not crafting, but more detailing of the store most likely.
It sounds like you have lots of helpers, so hopefully you will squeeze in some creative time.
Good luck!
Amy
