The sale at the Monticello in Portland is going fabulous. All the venders have done an outstanding job of displaying their holiday treasures. The shopping mob hit and left things a bit scrambled over the weekend. I was able to get away for the day on Tuesday with my favorite 10 year-old, we packed our space full. It was a great day as we spent the rest of the day together. It is our tradition that each kid gets a "special day" with Mom in the weeks before Christmas. They choose what we do and plan out the entire day. Thankfully Caden wanted to visit The Monticello on his day. Worked out well for both of us.
Hello! I bought a child's ironing board at your shop one day, as well as a lot of other nice things. I bring my daughter and her daughter there as often as I can. You can "see" us at www.homeliving.blogspot.com and www.thepleasanttimes.blogspot.com I am a veteran home schooler too and having fun watching the next generation enjoy the process of growing and learning.
I'm sitting here before sunup on a freezing cold morning just surfing the web for blogs. The beautiful pics in yours helped warm my heart even if my feet are half frozen. The doll in your header looks just like one I had as a child. Guess that dates me!

What a precious, precious website! I love it! Especially like the old picture of the cowgirls. O, to be one of them. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Kathy, I can't find the recipe. Do you remember where you sent it? Thanks, little Mary
Merry Christmas to you all and thank you for all the sweet peeks at your shop!
