Yeah!! we survived Coburg

This weekend was The Coburg antique show. It is a huge event and we take it quite seriously as it is usually a really great show for us. This year we were not disappointed. The weather was excellent and my great friend Sue, braved the middle of the night setup, and came along to help.Sue arrived promptly at 3:15 a.m. and off we went to setup.h 11 year old Emma in tow, who insisted on helping this year. The weather was agreeable and we had an excellent show. We had a constant flow of people and we were so glad to have extra help. Thanks Sue!!

Great job!!! Your space looks amazing as usual. Now that we see all the pictures from the show, we wished we would have gone out there to visit everyone. That was the original plan, but sometimes you have to pass on a good party to take care of home. :o)

Can't wait to see what you have done for the Monticello show that starts tomorrow!

Hi there,
I love reading your blog and looking at the photos. As an avid fan of what you do, I've got a couple of questions...hope you don't mind! I have a large family down under in Australia, and do similar things to you guys (repurposed furniture etc). How do you manage to do all the shows with the children? Do you take them with you or have help at home? The picture of your beautiful outdoor house at the sale amazes me. Did you build this onsite or is it a permanet fixture there? How did you get started in your business? Do you and Marv do this fulltime together? Gosh, sorry for the long comment, but I'm really keen to take my 'stuff' to the next level and thought that by asking someone on the other side of the world there would be no problem with competition!! haha
Bless you heaps,

I went to this last year and really enjoyed it. I bought my first fairy light. I now have begun a collection of them. I missed this year's show. I hope to go next year. Kathi
