Tis the season, Blueberry season, that is

I absolutely love picking berries. Any type of berry,but especially blueberries. Yesterday we went picking and quickly picked 60 lbs, yes my kids like to pick also.
This morning we started off our busy day with, you guessed, blueberry scones and devonshire cream. Oh how I love summertime!

We have a new Salvage area in Glory Days Antiques

We have decided to part with some of our abundance of old hardware, doors, windows and various other architectural pcs. We moved things around and made room for a special area in the "Barn" at Glory Days Antiques in Springfield. if you're in the area stop by.

We have taken a few short trips in between working on getting a rental house on the market, strangely, we just keep finding wonderful treasures to bring home. It has been wonderful to mix family, fun and business, we have both store locations packed with great items.

Where will I store all this? We had a great weekend hunting for wonderful finds but now what?
We are taking time out to go camping and this is our driveway right now. Oh what am I to do. I love all the old metal and I was clearly on a roll when it comes to great old metal wheels. We will stuff it all somewhere , Go camping, then clean it up and off to sell it goes.

Time out for Parties

Last night we celebrated our granddaughter Lilly's Birthday. She is adorable and all girl. Her Mama loves this and thoroughly enjoys all handmade and pretty things. I usually try to make a gift , knowing that Lillys mom will appreciate the thought. Here is the little beach bag and Bloomers that were included in the gift. Lilly loves bloomers ,as they are comfortable and cool.
